A superb essay found in F W Boreham's desk. A reflection on Isaiah's prophetic song-Isaiah 53:2.
In his Autobiography, Mark Rutherford tells how Mary Mardon, and her father, searching for seaside accommodation, found nothing available, but a squalid and unattractive house in an unalluring part of the town. When, however, they entered it, they discovered, to their delight, that its back windows look down on a well-kept garden of flowers, and commanded a glorious view of the bay.
