This photo was posted on social media of sheep going through a gate where there are no fences. Unfortunately, fact checking revealed that fences did exist in this photo on an Australian farm!!

Away up in the interior of Australia, there were, years ago, two great sheep runs adjoining each other. A fence divided them, with iron gates across the roads. In course of time, one run came into the market and was purchased by the proprietors of the other. The necessity for fences and gates no longer existed. The fences were allowed to fall into decay, but, for some years after they had vanished, at least one of the gates still blocked the highway.
