WHO IS WRITING THIS NEW PAGE?
I (Geoff Pound) first became acquainted with F W Boreham more than 40 years ago when I was a newly-minted Baptist pastor living and working in Dunedin, New Zealand, 20 kilometres from where F W Boreham first ministered in Mosgiel. I loved his stories and used many as my sermon illustrations. When our family moved to Melbourne, Australia, I met many people who had known or heard F W Boreham and I became friends with many of his family members. I established displays of his books and memorabilia, led F W Boreham Bus Tours through Melbourne, visited his childhood home in Tunbridge Wells, wrote 1000+ blog posts, posted daily Facebook photos, articles and quotes, republished many hard-to-get FWB books (John Broadbanks Publishing) and wrote a 100,000 doctoral dissertation on F W Boreham’s newspaper editorials (1912-1959).
WHY WRITE THIS NEW PAGE?
I have Notebooks and Letters that F W Boreham kept in his desk. In going through this material (much of it handwritten) I have found that it offers glimpses into F W Boreham that were new to me and which may be interesting to you and others who follow the Boreham blogs and the FWB Facebook community.
I also came across Dr Boreham’s book that he was working on in the year of his death. This might be a good Page to share this information with you.

AN F W BOREHAM COMMUNITY?
I realise that in starting a Substack newsletter, I am starting a community or inviting people to join from other places where we have gathered e.g. The F W Boreham Facebook Page (these daily posts will continue). I have learned much from people’s comments and thoughts. I have also spent lots of time responding to questions about F W Boreham. This space will be such a place of conversation and enquiry.
FREE AND PAID POSTS
I live a busy life as a pastor of a Baptist church in Melbourne. I also write eulogies for people. I am planning to devote one day a week to writing these posts on F W Boreham. Some of these weekly posts will be free but those who take out a paid subscription will get:
